With the holidays approaching quickly those of us who are trying to maintain our weight and fitness routine always have a challenge. Most people gain between 5-7lbs from Thanksgiving to January 1st. It can be difficult during the holiday season to maintain a fitness routine with cooler temperatures, traveling, visiting with family and of course all those family meals. Try to at least squeeze in a few minutes a day to maintain your physical activity.

Below are a few DO’S and DON’TS that help you minimize extra calories and motivate you to be consistent with your fitness

Maria Wells has over 40 years experience in the fitness industry in the south Georgia area. She currently serves as a staff member and judge for the Georgia National Physique Committee. Maria also is the host of FITTALK RADIO 105.9 WVGA a division of Black Crow Media out of Valdosta , Georgia.
