With these wintry days, we thought you might like to try your hand at a nice pot of chili to warm your family up. The following recipe was taken verbatim from the 1960 edition of the Hahira Garden Club Cookbook.

1 lb. ground beef
1 can Kidney beans
1 can Tomato Soup
1 can tomatoes
1 lge onion, diced
1/2 tbsp. Chile Pwd.
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt

Brown slowly in skillet ground beef, and onion, stirring with fork now and them to break up meat particles. Stir in beans, tomato soup and tomatoes. Add sugar, salt, and chile powder. Simmer for about 30 minutes. Serve with piping hot with crackers.
